Tasting notes

Light to medium-bodied with gentle tannins and packed with warm cherry and crushed raspberry fruit flavours, plus a sprinkling of light spice.

Production notes

The grapes came from 20-year-old vines grown in the southern half of the Rhône Valley - mainly the communes of Valréas, Visan, Richerenches and Grillon. After destemming, fermentation took place in stainless steel and epoxy covered concrete tanks over seven days. Malolactic conversion softened the wine's acidity and three months in tank mellowed the fruit before it was fined, filtered and bottled.
